Ambassadors News

Conference successes inspire future ambassadors…

Newly appointed Deputy Lord Mayor, Cllr William Humphrey hosted a civic reception at Belfast City Hall for over 100 Belfast Conference ambassadors including…..  Tourism students were also on hand to help welcome the Conference Ambassadors at the reception which was organised by Belfast Visitor Convention Bureau (BVCB) to herald the recent and considerable successes of local medical and academic professionals in attracting national and international conferences to the city.

The efforts of Conference Ambassadors are an integral part of BVCB’s strategy in increasing conference and meetings tourism to Belfast.  2010 is set to be a record year in the number of conference bids won which will see thousands of delegates come to the city as far forward as 2014.

So why not become an Ambassador and make the programme work for you as well as for the City.
