Access to Belfast

By Air
Belfast is easily accessible from other cities in the UK and Europe with regular scheduled flights coming into both Belfast City and Belfast International Airports. Travel from most UK destinations takes just over 1 hour.

Belfast City Airport is situated just 3 miles from the city centre on the south shores of Belfast Lough. A regular bus service operates into the city centre bus Station at the Europa Hotel. Fare is £3 one way. The journey time is approximately 10 minutes.

Belfast International Airport is situated 19 miles north of the city and is served by a regular bus service, which operates every 30 minutes to and from the city centre. The journey time is approximately 25 minutes and is at a cost of £6 single or £9 return.

By Rail
Delegates travelling into Dublin Airport can travel onwards to Belfast on a high-speed rail link in just 2 hours with trains departing every hour.

By Sea
There are regular sailings from the UK mainland into Northern Ireland with services operated by Stena Line, Seacat and Norse Irish Ferries. Special group fares can be negotiated with the carriers.

By Bus
Aircoach provides a luxury coach service that runs from Dublin Airport to Belfast City seven days a week on an hourly basis from 7am until 9pm. This service enables anyone flying in to Dublin to travel on to Belfast conveniently and comfortably. The duration of the journey is approximately two hours.
